The one with the bridge

Basically, this to a bridge from my previous post to my latter post, explaining what had happened in these few months (only things which I can remember).

ASEAN Scholarship
Lets see, I will begin with myself. Applied for ASEAN, got into the selection, went for selection, waiting for reply. The math was pretty hard, most of the candidates left at least half of the paper empty including me. The sad part was I was sure that I can answer all of it but I was stupid to held in my pee. My hypothalamus was signalling my body so bad that I think my bladder was about to burst. Now, I know it's stupid but they said we can't pee! I was desperate enough to ask after a while which granted me with a answer that saved my bladder from the brink of explosion. Anyway, when I came back from the toilet and had the proper mental capability to sit for the exam, the examiner announced "Time's up you suckers!".

English was not too bad, the only challange was to write a 350 words essay in about 30 minutes which I did with 600 words. The title which I had chosen was "Should the excellence be based solely on academic only".

General Knowledge (IQ) was a surprise for me. It was so freaking easy! Maybe it's because I had completed similar questions beforehand. I really want the scholarship but we all know the result.. Still, no harm hoping.

Icare/Ichallenge
We ( Carmen, Hsien Wei, Aiman and I) recently qualify ourselves as one of the 9 finalist chosen out of 108 teams througout Malaysia. Currently working on the campaign (iGreenify) which we are suppose to be carring out. I will elaborate more about it in our next post.

Choir
As for our choir, we won the district level competition. Lost the state level, 4th place, period.
I would say it was most probably our lack of capability as a leader that led to the downfall.
Though now we need to look ahead for the Subang Parade Competition and our musical.
Can't wait to step down.

Choral Festival
Due to the economical downfall, the location of the festival had been changed from KLPAC to our school. Had quite a lot of fun though I only attended 3 out of the 5 days it was hosted. Took lots of pictures with students from all over Malaysia and a choir from the Philippines. Too bad we were forced to clean up after the event because it was held in our school but we're willing to do it! =)

Summary
As to sum up this chapter, I am back =D
