Do I dare dream?
I am but a small soul,
Carrying a dream of my far-fetched future,
I stood in reverie as before me, my life unfold,
Asking myself my path of travel.
They told me to walk among the ordinary,
but I can't help but wonder, can I be more?
Should I have failed in my choice,
I will be but a humanity's sore.
Oh lord, high and almighty lord,
I dare myself to question you.
Will it matter all which I have fought?
If you have already lay my path through.
I stared upon the clouds, at the rocket propelled trail,
Is my life my own to decide?
Will I be able to reach my self-proclaimed grail?
Or have you bereft my dreams with a solitary tide?
